Alanna has officially welcomed Ziggy—Hero’s “normal” brother—into her home!

Just a few more updates from yesterday’s vet visit—nothing too exciting, but still worth sharing!

I brought several piggies to Southern Maine Hospital for Small Mammals today, and I know I owe everyone updates on both the new arrivals and those who were seen—but I want to start with Hero’s appointment.

SURPRISE! Maddy has a tumor in her ear. 😞

Quintan passed peacefully over the rainbow bridge. He drifted off quietly while snuggled up against me.

Several days ago, I was very shocked to find that Meredith the chinnie had passed away. She was Ellis’s sister—our chinchilla with congestive heart failure—and a bonded companion to Lexi.

Hero is doing better after some oxygen support and a dose of Lasix.

It may seem like a small win, but to me it’s a big one:

I’m in a bit of a tizzy—Hero isn’t feeling well. 😔
